Rathna Fan House was started way back in 1957 by Shri K.Sambasivam Iyer (known as Sri Mambalam Swamigal) our Founder in a modest way by the name of Rathna Eletricals, dealing mainly in electrical goods. He was very pious and a staunch devotee of Sri Reddiapatti Swamigal and Srilasri Arul Sakthi Annai. In 1970 the fan division was started by our Chairman Shri K.S.Krishnamurthy, an engineer by profession, under the name “RATHNA FAN HOUSE”. It dealt with all kinds of Fans of leading brands. It was his vision to provide the Chennaites with quality products at very reasonable rates. His father had taught him that.

Following these golden principles the company has created has niche for itself in the home appliances market. In the year 2000 we had entered the A/c market and made it affordable for a common man by selling volume and benefiting the individual customers. Today we are the No.1 dealer for all products we deal with. He is ably supported by his brother-in-law Sri.K.V.Subramanian who is the backbone of running the day-to-day activities. Now his son K.Vijay, a chartered accountant by profession has joined him and will further the business in the future.
